Role

Summary:

Interprets and evaluates the appropriateness of physicians’ orders and is responsible for the accuracy of the final product. Communicates drug information to all customers and provides pharmaceutical care.

• Required License:
  Active license to practice in North Carolina, or eligible within 60 days
• Preferred Experience:
  
  Previous hospital experience and/or pharmacy residency

Highlands-Cashiers Hospital serves Macon, Jackson and surrounding counties, offering 24/7 emergency care, acute inpatient care, rehabilitation, long‑term care, and ambulatory services. The hospital has 24 acute care beds and over 80 beds in the Eckerd Living Center. It is an operating division of Mission Health, part of HCA Healthcare.
