Teacher Assistant

RHA Health Services, LLC is hiring for a Teacher Assistant. This role provides educational support to individuals with developmental disabilities, mental health and/or substance use challenges. Regular

• Assist teacher and conduct activities that meet the needs of each individual (Integrative Activities).
• Assure class schedules and other routines are followed. Assist in the development of activities for week-ends and holidays.
• Assist in basic care of individuals, including instruction in such skills.
• Collect appropriate data as assigned. Record progress of individuals as assigned.
• All other duties as assigned.

• High School diploma or G.E.D. with at least one year of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities.
• A valid driver's license in the state of residence may be required.

• Complete criminal background check.
• Name checked in registries (OIG exclusions database, Child Abuse Registry, and Offenders Against Individuals with Developmental Disabilities).
• Drug testing.
• Education verification and other credentialing based on position requirements.
• Proof of employment history or references (if required).
• Positions that require driving: proof of driver's license, driver's insurance, and vehicle, if required for providing transportation for individuals.
