Position Title: Psychotherapist (LCMHC, LMFT, or Licensed Psychologist – PsyD/Ph.D.)

Coverage areas - 1 day in Yanceyville, NC and 1 day in any of the following areas - Aberdeen, Clemmons, Sparta, Henderson, Yanceyville, Thomasville, and Winston Salem, NC areas.

Schedule:

Pay Per Encounter | Fee-for-Service | 2 days per week - days out of Monday - Friday - daytime hours

Telos Health Systems is seeking a Psychotherapist (LCMHC, LMFT, or Licensed Psychologist – PsyD/Ph.D.) to provide mental health evaluations and psychotherapy services to patients in Skilled Nursing Facilities and Assisted Living Facilities. This role offers flexibility, clinical autonomy, and strong administrative and leadership support.

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments and diagnostic evaluations.
• Provide individual psychotherapy and ongoing treatment services.
• Develop, implement, and update individualized treatment plans in collaboration with a multidisciplinary care team.
• Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation.
• Coordinate care with facility staff, medical providers, and other healthcare professionals.
• Adhere to all federal, state, and organizational standards, policies, and regulations.

• Active state license as one of the following:
  • Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC)
  • Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
  • Licensed Psychologist
    -PsyD/Ph.D.
• Master’s degree (LCMHC/LMFT) or Doctoral degree (Psychologist) in a relevant mental health field.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a clinical team.
• Strong communication and clinical documentation skills.

• Experience working with geriatric populations.
• Experience in Skilled Nursing Facilities, Assisted Living, or long-term care settings.
• Pay-per-encounter, fee-for-service compensation.
• Flexible scheduling with a focus on work-life balance.
• No billing or authorization responsibilities (handled by our billing team).
• Ongoing support from Directors of Mental Health and administrative staff.
