Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) - Liberty Commons of Halifax County
The Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) at Liberty Commons of Halifax County provides rehabilitation support by working with multidisciplinary teams to develop individualized treatment plans for patients. The role requires supporting patients through progressive therapy modalities in a skilled nursing facility environment. Candidates must hold appropriate state licensure and have completed an accredited therapy program, with prior rehab experience preferred.
Responsibilities- Work with a multidisciplinary team to insure a wonderful rehab experience for patients and their families by being responsive and individualizing treatment plans.
- Be able to work in a supportive rehab environment with progressive treatment modalities to address a variety of diseases and impairments.
- Provide in-house therapy with local management support.
- Education:
Must be a graduate of an accredited Therapy program. - Certificate / License:
Must be licensed in the state of the SNF you will be working. - Experience:
Previous rehab SNF experience is preferred.
