• Measure and record vital signs and ensure accurate documentation in the EMR
• Assist medical staff with patient examinations and provide instructions to patients
• Maintain supplies and sterilize instruments while ensuring patient confidentiality
• Perform routine screening tests, draw blood samples, and prepare them for laboratory analysis
• Handle front office duties including patient check-in/check-out and electronic scheduling

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Graduate of an accredited school of medical assisting or equivalent education and experience
• Minimum one (1) year of experience as a Medical Assistant preferred
• Advanced proficiency in phlebotomy and clinical laboratory procedures required
• Current CPR (BLS) certification or ability to obtain within 60 days of hire

• Experience working in a Primary Care setting preferred
• Bilingual in Spanish a plus
• Medical Assistant certification through AAMA, AMT, NHA, or NCCT preferred
