We’re currently seeking a Registered Part-Time Ultrasonographer to bring their expertise and compassion to our Montgomery Memorial Hospital in Troy, NC. This flexible role is ideal for professionals seeking a consistent schedule with meaningful impact—working one day per week with additional on-call responsibilities.
As a valued member of our imaging department, you’ll play a critical role in delivering high-quality diagnostic ultrasound services to patients across a variety of clinical settings. Whether you're scanning for vascular, abdominal, OB/GYN, or small parts studies, your precision and patient-first approach will help drive our mission of exceptional care.

Ultrasound Tech Job Summary
- Perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures in accordance with established protocols and physician orders
- Ensure accurate image acquisition and documentation for interpretation
- Maintain patient comfort, safety, and confidentiality throughout the imaging process
- Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to support timely diagnosis and treatment
- Participate in quality assurance and equipment maintenance activities
- Fulfill on-call duties one weeknight per week and one weekend per month, responding promptly to emergent imaging needs
- Uphold First Health’s standards of excellence, professionalism, and patient-centered care
Ultrasound Tech Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program
- Current ARDMS certification in one or more specialties (Abdomen, OB/GYN, Vascular preferred)
- BLS certification (Basic Life Support) required
- Minimum of one year clinical experience preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Commitment to maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Flexibility to meet on-call requirements as scheduled
