We’re currently seeking a Registered Part-Time Ultrasonographer to bring their expertise and compassion to our Montgomery Memorial Hospital in Troy, NC. This flexible role is ideal for professionals seeking a consistent schedule with meaningful impact—working one day per week with additional on-call responsibilities.

Whether you're scanning for vascular, abdominal, OB/GYN, or small parts studies, your precision and patient-first approach will help drive our mission of exceptional care.

Ultrasound Tech Job Summary

• Perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures in accordance with established protocols and physician orders
• Ensure accurate image acquisition and documentation for interpretation
• Maintain patient comfort, safety, and confidentiality throughout the imaging process
• Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to support timely diagnosis and treatment
• Participate in quality assurance and equipment maintenance activities
• Fulfill on-call duties one weeknight per week and one weekend per month, responding promptly to emergent imaging needs
• Uphold First Health’s standards of excellence, professionalism, and patient-centered care

Ultrasound Tech Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program
• Current ARDMS certification in one or more specialties (Abdomen, OB/GYN, Vascular preferred)
• BLS certification (Basic Life Support) required
• Minimum of one year clinical experience preferred
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Commitment to maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Flexibility to meet on-call requirements as scheduled
