Responsibilities
The primary purpose of this position is to coordinate the Warren County Health Department’s Breast Cancer Cervical Control Program for women of Warren County who qualify for this program and coordinate the Maternal Health Program serving the pregnant women of Warren County. Duties will include assuring compliance with state and local regulations, accurate and timely documentation and follow up of clients;
complete other duties as assigned/required such as other clinics within the Warren County Health Department.
Graduation from an accredited school of nursing and two years of professional nursing experience including one year in public health; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Must be licensed as a Registered Nurse in North Carolina.
Special RequirementsValid driver’s license in good standing; licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in North Carolina; must meet & maintain minimum education & experience requirements as determined by the state of North Carolina.
A non-refundable signing bonus in the amount of $3,750 will be paid in the selected applicant’s paycheck 6 months following employment and execution of the Employment Signing and Retention Bonus Agreement.
A retention bonus in the amount of $3,750 will be paid in the selected applicant’s next paycheck following the completion of 12 full months of employment in the same position with the County following the date of payment of the signing bonus.
To be eligible for a sign-on bonus, the candidate must not have worked as a probationary, permanent, or time-limited employee in the last 12 months as an employee subject to the State Human Resources Act or Warren County’s Personnel Manual.
