Make a Difference Where It Matters Most. Comm Well Health is seeking a compassionate, mission-driven Physician Assistant to provide high-quality outpatient primary care to patients across the lifespan, while being part of a collaborative team committed to improving access to care and long-term health outcomes.

• Provide direct outpatient primary care including diagnostic and therapeutic services
• Take patient histories, conduct physical exams, and document care through progress notes and summaries
• Prescribe medications using clinic formulary and within PA protocols
• Order lab and x-ray services (on-site/off-site) as appropriate
• Participate in our Patient Centered Health Home (PCHH) Care Team, including huddles and case reviews
• Support patient self-management goals and proactive care planning
• Serve as a mentor/preceptor for student rotations as applicable

• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program
• National certification as a Physician Assistant
• Full licensure to practice by the NC Board of Medical Examiners
• BLS Certificate from American Red Cross or American Heart Association
• Able to complete initial credentialing upon hire and reappointment every 2 years

• 1+ year of PA experience preferred (new grads considered)
• Spanish preferred but not required
