Outpatient Psychiatry Advanced Practice Provider (NP/PA) in Chatham County!

Position Information:

• Full-time opportunity for an outpatient provider
• Position will be split between Chatham Primary Care and Family Medicine at Pittsboro
• Provide direct patient care in office setting.
• Experience with Epic is preferred.

• Provide patient care for adults and children through assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of mental health needs.
• Provide medication management and perform psychiatric evaluations for patients pursuing OP services.
• Provide psychiatric leadership and direction for the treatment team under the supervision of physician psychiatrist.

• 2-plus years of experience
• Licensed and certified PMHNP; ANCC or AANP Board Certified

• Completion of an accredited graduate-level Advanced Practice Provider (APRN or PA) program.

• Licensed as an Advanced Practice Provider (i.e., Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant, Clinical Pharmacist Practitioner, Certified Nurse Midwife, Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist) in the state of North Carolina.
• Board certification if required by the Department. DEA.

• No prior experience required.

• Demonstrated clinical competency.
• Effective leadership skills. Strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Demonstrated written and verbal communication and strong analytical skills.
• Effective interaction to ensure the successful care of patients in the clinical setting.
• Documentation in the medical record to substantiate accurate billing.
