Overview
Ashton Health and Rehabilitation is currently seeking an Activities Director to join our team of dedicated health care professionals.
The primary purpose of the Activity Director is to plan, organize, develop, and direct the overall operation of the Activity Department so that it is designed to meet, in accordance with the comprehensive assessment, the interests and the physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being of each resident.

Qualifications- Qualified therapeutic recreation specialist or an activities professional who is licensed by this state and eligible for certification as a recreation specialist or as an activities professional; or
- Two (2) years of experience in a social or recreation program within the last five (5) years, including at least one (1) year full-time in a patient activities program in a health care setting; or
- Qualified occupational therapist or occupational therapy assistant; or
- Completed a training course approved by this state.
