Position Summary

• Provides patient care under the direction and supervision of a Physical Therapist through performing treatment, communicating with the supervising PT and other health care professionals, and appropriate documentation
• Participates in departmental/team/organizational quality improvement activities
• Delegates appropriate tasks to PT technicians and supervises
• Responsible for education of self, peers, patients, students, community members and assists with new employee orientation
• Assists with or performs special projects

High School plus 2 years or more of formal training or education. Specify:
Physical Therapist Assitant.

North Carolina Board of Physical Therapy. 10 or more years of licensure is required.

$28.58 - $41.66

ECU Health Chowan Hospital in Edenton is a 25-bed critical access hospital which provides programs and services to 110,000 people in 6 counties. The facility offers medical and surgical services, including intensive care, a specialty care clinic and a dedicated outpatient surgery area with endoscopy capabilities. A 7-bed emergency department serves approximately 15,000 patients per year and team members at the facility have access to a telemedicine link with the Brody School of Medicine at East Carolina University.
