, you navigate necessary internal processes to facilitate a product you deeply believe in. You absorb and act on complex procedures and data and train your team or peers if needed. You take pride in getting things done quickly without sacrificing safety or quality.
Your team is integral to Baxter’s quality function, which values both teamwork and independent work. You will be responsible for direct supervision of Quality Technicians performing finished product testing of solutions in accordance with USP, reviewing test results within POMS or BaxLIMS, coordinating release of test results within specified time frames, and ensuring all tasks required are completed within the assigned shift.
You will complete follow‑up actions for any nonconformances and maintain training qualification on test methods.

- Oversee daily shift operations of the QC PM Lab, including scheduling and resource management
- Manage and lead a team of quality control technicians responsible for executing tests for particulate matter through filtration and visual inspection
- Assign tasks, set priorities, and ensure effective performance and development of team members
- Conduct regular training for staff to ensure work is performed accurately and efficiently, following established protocols and standards
- Conduct ACE Check‑ins with staff and additional communications as needed
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during testing or lab equipment
- Perform follow‑up for out‑of‑limit results including PM characterization, issuance of nonconformance, laboratory investigation, and coordinate follow‑up testing as required by procedure
- Maintain and update standard operating procedures (SOPs) to reflect current practice and regulatory changes
- Review results and address documentation errors in accordance with procedural requirements
- Ensure that all data is documented properly, and reports are generated and reviewed in a timely manner
- Perform trending of testing including efficiency metrics and results
- Implement and enforce safety protocols and practices within the laboratory
- Bachelor’s degree in science (e.g., Engineering, Chemistry, Life Science, Biology)
- 2+ years of experience with aseptic technique in laboratory or manufacturing environments
- Strong understanding of quality principles and Good Manufacturing Practice, including Good Documentation Practice
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to focus on repetitive tasks
- Computer skills including knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel)
- Good interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team‑based environment in small spaces
