Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) – Home Health
Hugh Chatham Health (formerly Yadkin Valley Home Health) is hiring a Speech Language Pathologist for home health services.
North Carolina counties served:
Alexander, Alleghany, Ashe, Davie, Forsyth, Iredell, Stokes, Surry, Wilkes and Yadkin.

Responsibilities :
Provides and directs the provision of home speech therapy, based on agency policies and procedures, through the competent application of the speech therapy process.
Education and Formal Training :
Master’s degree with a major in speech pathology. Holds certificate of clinical competence and license granted by the American Speech and Hearing Association. North Carolina license.
Work Experience : EXTENDED TRAINING PROGRAM OFFERED FOR NEW GRADUATES!
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required :
Demonstrates a high level of mental and emotional tolerance and even temperament when dealing with ill people; uses tact, sensitivity, sound judgment and a professional attitude when relating with patients, families, and co‑workers at all times. Actively functions as a patient advocate. Must develop knowledge of current home care emergency policies and procedures, fire safety, disaster and infection control policies.
