Staff Accountant

Location: Hamlet

Description We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our team in Hamlet, North Carolina. This Contract to permanent position offers an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented individual with a strong background in accounting and manufacturing to contribute to a dynamic work environment. The ideal candidate will play a key role in maintaining financial accuracy and supporting business operations.

Responsibilities:

- Prepare and review journal entries to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.

- Manage and reconcile general ledger accounts to maintain accurate financial records.

- Collaborate with manufacturing teams to analyze financial data and support operational decision-making.

- Utilize Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations for financial reporting and system management.

- Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.

- Conduct audits and internal reviews to identify discrepancies and implement corrective measures.

- Support budgeting and forecasting activities to align financial strategies with organizational goals.

- Provide detailed financial analysis and reporting to stakeholders to guide business decisions.

- Ensure compliance with accounting regulations and company policies.

- Work closely with cross-functional teams to streamline accounting processes and improve efficiency. Requirements - Minimum of 3-5 years of accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.

- Proficiency in preparing and reviewing journal entries and managing general ledger accounts.

- Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations is preferred, but not required.

- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and present financial data.

- Solid understanding of accounting principles and regulations.

- Excellent organizational and time management skills to meet deadlines effectively.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration across teams.

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
