The Environmental Engineer is responsible for leading safety and environmental compliance at the division. Duties include maintaining compliance with all safety and environmental requirements; implementing and managing environmental programs (air, water, waste) including permitting and reporting; educating and training the team; engaging with the plant‑wide team for solutions to problems and promoting continual improvement; and participating in community outreach initiatives. Safety is paramount;
therefore, candidates must demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.
- Legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship
- Minimum of two years experience in environmental compliance, permitting and reporting
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental, Civil, Chemical Engineering or related field
- Experience with ISO 14001 or related management system
- Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
