Job Summary
Our client is seeking an Xpedition PCB Designer to join their Undersea Mission Engineering team.

McLeansville, North Carolina
Job type:
Contract to Perm
Salary: $55 - $58 per hour
Work hours:
9am to 5pm
Education:
Bachelor’s degree required
As an ECAD Librarian and PCB Designer for Undersea Systems, you will support CCA development for electronics used in high reliability undersea communication systems.
- Minimum of two years of experience using Mentor Graphics Xpedition
- Experience with library management practices
- Experience with ECAD/PCB layout design processes
- Knowledge of one or more Mentor Graphics PCB design tools (xDM, Xpedition, DXdatabook, Board Station, Hyperlynx) or Altium
- Experience with library management including Xpedition parts request system, Footprint Expert Enterprise 23, 3D model creation using Solidworks NX or CREO, and Hyperlynx
- Circuit design and hands‑on prototyping experience
- Basic knowledge of IPC and manufacturing standards
- In‑depth knowledge of CCA fabrication techniques; ability to communicate with suppliers for design documentation clarification
- Experience with schematic capture in Xpedition is valuable
- Documentation capture including bill of materials, ODB++ digital fabrication packages, and 3D model generation
Education:
Associate’s degree or equivalent required with a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience.
