The Electrical Engineering Manager will lead our internal engineering team and drive technical execution across a wide range of commercial and industrial construction projects. This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and collaboration and communication skills.

• Lead, manage, and support the growth of an 8–10 person staff in the engineering department
• Read and interpret construction documents, drawings, schematics, and designs
• Design and develop specifications for electrical systems on commercial and industrial projects
• Identify and implement engineered solutions to field challenges
• Promote the use of pre‑fabrication and innovative electrical installation techniques
• Collaborate with project teams to improve installation efficiency and productivity
  
  Use tools such as AutoCAD, BIM, Revit, Microsoft Projects, Excel, Bluebeam, Procore, and/or Con Est to support project planning and execution
• Ensure alignment with project scope, timelines, and cost targets
• Maintain high standards of documentation, detail orientation, and team collaboration

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering
• Professional Engineering (P.E.) license
• Minimum 5 years of electrical engineering experience in commercial and/or industrial construction
• Additional experience in project management, estimating, prefabrication, or project controls is a plus
• Proficient in engineering software and construction management tools
• Strong organizational, problem‑solving, and communication skills
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Must pass a pre‑employment drug screen

Must be willing and able to relocate and/or commute to our Spindale, NC office location.
