My client located in Elk Valley is looking for an experienced Water Technician on 18 month long contract. This will require relocation to Elk Valley for that term.
- Diploma or degree in Engineering or Sciences, or an equivalent combination of training and water treatment experience
- Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) certificate and strong ability to safely handle chemicals and operate equipment for transporting chemicals
- Strong mechanical understanding of process equipment
- Strong digital literacy and proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite®; especially Excel
- Previous experience with Programmable Logic Controllers and Human Machine Interface systems is considered an asset
- Level I, II, or III Water or Wastewater Treatment certificate is considered an asset
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s License or equivalent
- Site-based, 7/7 schedule, rotating days and nights
