What You'll Be Doing- Design / modify process automation and manufacturing equipment
- Lead multiple projects with minimal supervision
- Prepare estimates for various tasks and projects
- Lead capital projects both directly and through coordinating engineers
- Drive Continuous Improvement Activities
- Collaborate with plant and corporate groups as well as contractors and vendors
- Run start-up, debug, and commission new manufacturing processes
- Equipment life cycle management including: upgrades, replacement, and decommissioning
- Provide technical support to facilities and process related equipment
- Demonstrate proactive communication and problem solving
- Responsible for supporting and achieving Value Improvement Projects (VIP’s)
- Responsible for adhering to FDA Design Control standards at all times
- Generate technical documents, reports, equipment specifications, and interpret technical drawings/schematics
- Learn, understand and apply rigorous quality standards, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP)
- Bachelor's degree in engineering required (Mechanical, Electrical, or Computer degrees are preferred)
