Your Impact in This Role- Research process design for existing and new mineral processes, taking into account all fields of extractive metallurgy: comminution, sizing, concentration, froth flotation, magnetic and electrostatic separation, and dewatering systems.
- Assess and recommend the applicability of emerging and established mineral separation technologies, with particular attention to flotation and physico-chemical separation methods.
- Plan, coordinate, and critically evaluate laboratory-, pilot-, and plant-scale testing programs, including internal and third-party test work.
- Perform process simulations, calculations, and sensitivity analyses to support process development, optimization, and scale-up.
- Prepare and reconcile mass and water balances for existing and proposed circuits; conduct process audits and performance reviews.
- Develop conceptual and preliminary process flow sheets for new or optimized circuits, including selection and specification of key equipment.
- Provide process engineering support for layouts, drawings, P&IDs, and interfaces with process control and automation systems.

- Having a minimum of a Master’s Degree or Equivalent with a study background in Mineral Processes.
- Ability to motivate people without having the authority over them (ability to lead) and to think out of the box.
- Demonstrate both technical and management skills.
- Have excellent written and verbal skills and the ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
