Each day, you will ensure appropriate production methods, cycle time, equipment performance, and materials/components in support of production targets.
You will also showcase your expertise by defining the working phase sequence of a new production process to achieve the targeted product cost and equipment investment budget. This role drives operational excellence by applying Lean Manufacturing principles, leading continuous improvement initiatives, and ensuring processes meet safety, quality, and productivity standards. The Process Engineer partners closely with production, quality, design engineering, and supply chain to support efficient, safe, and repeatable operations.
The work model for the role is:

Minimum 2 years of hands‑on experience applying Lean principles including Kaizen, 5S, value stream mapping, waste elimination, and leading continuous improvement initiatives that measurably reduce defects, cycle time, and/or cost. Proficient with Six Sigma tools such as DMAIC, root cause analysis, SPC, and statistical methods.
Strong experience developing, optimizing, and validating manufacturing processes, workflows, factory layouts, and production lines. Skilled in standard work creation, work instructions, time studies, line balancing, PFMEA, control plans, process capability studies, and process validation.
Ability to create and interpret engineering drawings, BOMs, routings, and technical specifications, with hands‑on exposure to electromechanical assembly, wiring, metal fabrication, and/or panel building. Working knowledge of UL, IEC, ANSI, and ISO 9001 quality and safety standards applicable to switch gear or similar manufacturing environments is preferred.
Proven ability to work effectively with production, quality, design engineering, supply chain, and safety teams. Experienced in training operators and technicians on new processes, standard work, and continuous improvement initiatives to drive adoption and sustain results.
We empower you to take initiative, challenge ideas, and lead with confidence. You'll grow through meaningful work, continuous learning, and support that's tailored to your goals. Every idea you share and every action you take contributes to something bigger.
