Role OverviewYou will report to the Quality Manager and will work onsite at the Creedmoor, North Carolina location. Our team is looking for an Aerospace Quality Engineer to develop and implement quality standards for aerospace products and processes, ensuring compliance with AS9100, FAA, and other applicable regulations.
Responsibilities- Develop and implement quality standards for aerospace products and processes
- Create and maintain quality procedures and work instructions
- Ensure compliance with AS9100, FAA, and other applicable standards and regulations
- Conduct inspections and audits of aerospace products and processes
- Investigate and resolve quality issues, ensuring timely corrective and preventive actions
- Manage the customer complaint/Return Material Authorization (RMA) process
- Collaborate cross‑functionally to support compliance, safety, and regulatory requirements
- Monitor and improve the company’s Quality Management System (QMS)
- Stay current with industry trends and best practices in aerospace quality
- Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Quality Assurance, Engineering, or a related field - Minimum of 3 years of experience in aerospace quality engineering or a related field
- Strong understanding of AS9100 aerospace quality standards and FAA regulations
- Experience with ISO 9001 and other quality management systems
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management tools
- Working knowledge of continuous improvement principles and practices
- Experience with problem‑solving tools such as 8D, 5‑Why, A3, and Ishikawa
- Knowledge of data analysis software and statistical tools
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and commitment to continuous improvement

$85,000 – $100,000 per year, based on experience.
