This tenure‑track position involves teaching graduate‑level counseling courses, engaging in service, and conducting scholarship.

• Teach core and specialty graduate‑level counseling courses in the Department of Counseling, with classes held in the evenings and offered in hybrid and online formats.
• Provide student advising and mentoring.
• Serve on program, department, and university committees.
• Engage in community service and professional service.
• Conduct scholarly activity.

• Earned doctorate in Counselor Education and Supervision from a CACREP‑accredited program at the time of graduation.
• Licensed as a professional school counselor in North Carolina or eligible for licensure at the time of employment.
• Prior teaching experience in higher education, strong research interest in professional counseling, and/or professional counseling experience preferred.
• Dual licensure as Clinical Mental Health Counselor and Professional School Counselor preferred.
