Job Description
A Craft Training Supervisor (CTS) specializes in team building and employee development at the site level. They oversee the training programs aimed at enhancing skills and knowledge among employees, fostering teamwork, and promoting professional growth. The CTS possess a proven track record of team leadership and the successful implementation and advocacy of employee development initiatives.
Responsibilities- Keeps track of key trends and developments in the training profession and updates or revises training programs accordingly.
- Research, design, and develop training programs and methods to meet training needs.
- Selects and develops teaching aids such as handbooks, visual aids, etc. for use in training sessions.
- Ensure compliance and consistency by auditing various aspects for the project(s) training program(s) including but not limited to records, documents, processes, and personnel.
- Report the status of training to the project(s) and to Craft Development.
- Completes special projects and performs other related duties as required.
- Hire, develop, supervise, lead, and support activities of the Craft Development team.
- Ability to successfully engage and consult with internal and external personnel at all levels, to include craft professionals, supervision, leadership and customers.
- Conduct outreach and engagement activities/events with local workforce support groups (schools, community colleges, workforce boards, community-based organizations, etc.).

- High School or GED
- Advanced computer proficiency (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel)
- Ability to communicate efficiently and effectively both verbally and in writing
- Strong organizational, attention to detail and analytical skills
- Engaging presentation / facilitation delivery
- Ability to manage time efficiently
