Salary Range: $3,600 per course (Master’s) or $3,900 per course (PhD)
Position SummaryInstructor will teach up to three sections of French language per semester. Appointments are on a course by course basis, subject to need. Courses are classroom-based; no online sections.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities Required for this PositionCandidates must be able to work with a comprehensive LMS (Canvas) and major publishers’ online course management systems. Preference is given to those familiar with and have materials for a current college-level French textbook.
Minimum QualificationsMin qualifications: a master’s degree in the teaching field (French Language or Literature), or a master’s degree in a closely related field with at least 18 graduate credit hours in the teaching field (e.g., courses with FREN prefixes).
Preferred QualificationsExperience teaching young adults from a current college-level textbook.
