• Establish and maintain professional relationships with local employers and community agencies, focusing on developing work experience sites to lead to participant employment opportunities.
• Interview participants to gather information on correct appropriate site match and make timely referrals to work experience locations.
• Conduct all employment background checks for participants and work experience site supervisors.
• Collect participants timesheets bi-weekly.
• Address any participant performance issues at the worksite.
• Conduct site visits quarterly.
• File management.
• CWDS database management.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Strong communication.
• Customer service and organizational skills.
• Must possess skills in developing, maintaining, and testing reporting systems, with experience in database management, networking, and Microsoft Office programs.
• Familiarity with working with TANF and at-risk youth between ages 17-24.
• 1-3 years' experience in Career Counseling or Employment Services and knowledge of workforce services.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced work environment with minimal supervision.
• Must have the ability to prioritize and work on numerous projects simultaneously.
• A bachelor’s degree is preferred.

This position serves Cumberland, Moore and Sampson counties.
