This is a full-time, on-site role for a Science Teacher based in Winton, NC. The Science Teacher will develop and deliver engaging lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards, guide students in hands-on scientific experiments, and assess student progress through tests, assignments, and class activities. The individual will foster critical thinking, encourage scientific inquiry, manage classroom behavior, and maintain clear communication with students, parents, and staff.

Participation in professional development opportunities and school activities is also expected.

• Strong subject matter expertise in science disciplines and the ability to convey complex scientific concepts in an accessible manner
• Proficiency in classroom management and the ability to foster a positive learning environment
• Effective verbal and written communication skills for interactions with students, parents, and colleagues
• Experience in creating and delivering lesson plans, as well as designing assessments to evaluate student learning
• Ability to use technology and resources to enhance the learning experience
• Certification or credentials required for teaching in the state of North Carolina
• Prior teaching experience, especially in science, is an asset but not required
• A bachelor's degree in science, education, or a related field
