Job DescriptionECU Department of Research, Economic Development and Engagement is currently seeking an Undergraduate Research Student Assistant. This position will assist the Director of Undergraduate Research with
1) coordinating events including Research and Creative Achievement Week and other symposia, and
2) promoting Forager One – a connectivity platform for engaging undergraduate students with faculty and scholars in experiential opportunities such as research, thesis, and creative projects. Promotional duties include public relations activities such as attending campus-supported events to showcase Forager One, developing / distributing materials, holding virtual demonstrations, sending announcements within Forager One, and communicating with students and interested parties.
Monday-Friday; any availability from 9-5
- Microsoft productivity applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) or equivalent
- Basic understanding of using social media platforms and website navigation
- Public speaking experience
