The Coordinator for Student Services provides innovative and strategic leadership, collaborative program development, and administration of student services, with a focus on career development and life skills. The role supports student success across the Student Life division, advancing the university’s mission and strategic plan, and operating through the lens of Campbell’s Hallmarks of Character, Initiative, and Calling.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities- Support career, calling, and vocational discernment aligned with the Campbell Hallmarks.
- Develop and manage a mentorship program connecting alumni and current students.
- Oversee and promote the Career Closet.
- Drive continuous improvement by identifying and integrating best practices for student services.
- Benchmark services against peer institutions.
- Design creative approaches to program delivery campus wide.
- Administer the CUHired system powered by Symplicity; maintain Career Services webpage and social media accounts.
- Facilitate opportunities that support students’ career readiness skills.
- Participate in professional development and cross‑functional collaboration.
- Design and deliver graduation survey.
- Conduct assessment of employer relations and provide feedback.

Coaching:
provide individualized guidance, workshops, resume review, interview mock‑sessions, and program collaboration. - Employer Engagement: create outreach strategies, facilitate relationships, manage on‑campus recruitment visits and programming, coordinate faculty partnerships, and ensure compliance with recruiting standards.
- Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor.
- Adhere to university policies including Title IX, HIPAA, and FERPA.
- Other duties may change without notice.
- Master’s degree, preferably in higher education, student affairs, counseling, human resources or a closely related field.
- Minimum four years of progressively responsible experience in Career Services or similar experience in career development in a business environment; seven years in a college or university career center is desired.
- Minimum two years’ full‑time experience building relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Experience developing long‑range plans and administering budgets.
- Experience with student success, enrollment, retention desired.
- Experience working with student employment, financial aid, academic departments, and advancement offices desired.
- Extensive knowledge of career development and student development.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Commitment to working with diverse populations.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and Symplicity (or other CSM systems).
- Data‑driven decision making.
- Excellent interpersonal skills: collaboration, conflict resolution, problem solving, decision making.
- Strong organization and planning; ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Ability to work independently and in a team.
- Maintaining strict confidentiality.
- Tact, positive attitude, courtesy, and discretion in dealing with university stakeholders.
- Independent judgment in complex situations.
- Detail‑oriented and adaptable to change.
- Integrity, honesty and alignment with Campbell University’s Christian mission.
