We are seeking a board-certified Pathologist specializing in blood banking and transfusion medicine for a locum tenens assignment in North Carolina. This opportunity begins on Feb 16, 2026, and spans 120 days, offering a consistent Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm schedule. The ideal candidate will have at least 3-5 years of experience in the field and be prepared to deliver high-quality laboratory medicine services in a dynamic clinical environment.

- Ensure compliance with laboratory protocols and safety standards
- Oversee and interpret laboratory testing related to blood banking
- Collaborate with clinical teams regarding transfusion practices and protocols
- Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of laboratory findings
- Support continuous quality improvement initiatives in the laboratory
- Must be board certified in blood banking/transfusion medicine
- Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience required
- Active North Carolina medical license required
