the Clinician's Workday

The anesthesiologist will provide 24-hour call coverage for elective and emergency surgery cases at The Outer Banks Hospital, a 21-bed critical access facility. The position requires supervision of CRNA staff and collaboration with a comprehensive medical team including General Surgery, Emergency Medicine, Obstetrics and Gynecology, Cardiology, Orthopedics, ENT, Primary Care and Oncology. Active North Carolina medical license, DEA registration, and board certification by ABOA are mandatory, along with current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.

The facility does not have an ICU, focusing on critical access care delivery.
