Job Description:

ECU Health Physicians and ECU Health Roanoke-Chowan Hospital are seeking a BE/BC Family Medicine or Internal Medicine Hospitalist to join an established hospitalist program. New graduates and visa candidates are encouraged to apply.

• Employment by ECU Health Physicians
• Hospital privileges at ECU Health Roanoke-Chowan Hospital, an 114‑bed community hospital
• Growing 9‑hospital physician‑led healthcare system
• Established hospitalist program inclusive of 8 physicians
• Full spectrum of specialty support including General Surgery, OBGYN, Cardiology, Urology, GI, Nephrology, Hematology/Oncology, Pulmonology, Behavioral Health, Tele‑Neurology, Tele‑Infectious Disease
• 7 on/7 off schedule, 7:00 am – 7:00 pm
• 10 bed open‑ICU with Pulmonology coverage Monday‑Friday, some vent‑management required
• Preferred procedures: central lines, paracentesis, thoracentesis, intubation (not required)
• Proximity to Greenville, Edenton, NC and the Tidewater VA area
