A Community Hospital is seeking an anesthesiologist for locum tenens coverage.

While on assignment in Western North Carolina, visit Pisgah National Forest or Mount Mitchell State Park for beautiful, mountainous views! In addition, the Biltmore Estate is a popular tourist attraction where you can tour the house and gardens!

We are seeking a Board-Certified Anesthesiologist to provide coverage due to a vacancy. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with call responsibilities that include one week of night call and two weekends per month. Physicians take OR call at night, while CRNAs cover first OB call, with physicians serving as backup for C-sections if needed. There is no post-call day off.

The practice includes general bread-and-butter cases with potential OB, and the role is primarily supervision, though providers must be willing to handle their own cases when on call.
