Location: Burgaw
Were seeking an experienced general dentist to provide essential dental care to adult patients at a secure state-run correctional facility in North Carolina. This is a locum tenens position offering a consistent schedule and the opportunity to work in a mission-driven environment with a dedicated support team.
The ideal candidate is confident in their clinical skills, comfortable working independently, and has experience in correctional, public health, or government-supported clinical settings.
Responsibilities:
Perform routine dental exams, diagnosis, and treatment planning
Provide emergency dental care as needed
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and preventive care Supervise and collaborate with dental auxiliaries
Maintain thorough, accurate, and compliant patient records
Coordinate care and make appropriate referrals for complex cases
Ensure all care adheres to state policy and facility procedures
