Job Summary

The Content & Creative Manager is responsible for creating engaging visual and written content that tells the story of Kitty Hawk Kites and Kitty Hawk Surf Co., drives customer engagement, and supports marketing initiatives. This role requires a strong understanding of brand identity, a passion for visual storytelling, and the ability to produce high-quality content across various platforms.

• Content Creation:
  Produce high-quality photo and video capturing & editing for use across all marketing channels (website, social media, email, digital ads, etc.).
• Content Creation:
  Create compelling written content for the blog, social media captions, email marketing, and other marketing materials.
• Content Creation:
  Design and produce graphic assets for digital and print, including social media posts, website banners, email templates, and flyers.
• Social Media Management:
  Develop and execute the social media content calendar, ensuring a consistent brand voice and engaging content mix.
• Social Media Management:
  Manage social media platforms, including content scheduling, community engagement, and monitoring trends.
• Social Media Management:
  Create content for both organic and paid social media campaigns.
• Brand Management:
  Ensure visual brand consistency across all content and marketing materials.
• Brand Management:
  Maintain brand guidelines, brand voice, and standards on all outputs.
• Collaboration:
  
  Collaborate with the Digital Marketing & Analytics Manager to optimize content for SEO and digital marketing campaigns.
• Collaboration:
  
  Work closely with the Events & PR Manager to capture event content and promote events through visual media.
• Project Management:
  Manage content production projects from concept to completion.
• Project Management:
  Prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

• Proven experience in content creation, including photography, videography, graphic design, and writing.
• Strong understanding of social media platforms and best practices.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Premiere Pro, Illustrator, etc.).
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and a passion for visual storytelling.
• Experience in the retail or tourism industry is a plus.
• A passion for the Outer Banks, adventure sports, and the beach lifestyle is a plus.
