Contemporary Worship Leader, First UMC Franklin, NC
CONTEMPORARY WORSHIP LEADER
First United Methodist Church, Franklin, NC is seeking a Contemporary Worship leader to join our ministry team. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: leading the contemporary worship service in partnership with the Praise Team and pastors; recruiting, scheduling, training, and rehearsing volunteer musicians and vocalists; working with the AV team in the advance preparation of worship materials; coordinating with pastors and the Praise Team to choose and present music for the contemporary worship services which coordinate with worship and sermon themes;
leading weekly rehearsals and sound checks with the band and AV coordinator. Preference will be given to pianist or guitarist who can both teach, lead and play. This is a 15 hour per week position. Send resume to: (Use the "Apply for this Job" box below).
