Construction Laborer; Belews Creek Steam Station

Founded in 1960, Trans Ash is a rapidly growing civil land construction & environmental company. This full-time position is located at the Duke Energy Belews Creek Steam Station in Walnut Cove, North Carolina.

Pay Information:

$15.14 - $22.71 / hour Higher starting pay with relevant experience.

Weekly Pay Potential Overtime available

Job Summary:

General Construction Site Labor Activities.

Essential Functions:

• Cleaning and preparing construction sites.
• Loading and unloading materials and equipment.
• Digging trenches, compacting earth, and back filling holes.
• Operating and tending machinery misc. heavy equipment.
• Following instructions from supervisors.
• Assisting tradespeople in their duties.

Job Requirements and Qualifications

Education:

• Previous construction industry experience.

Training Requirements:

• Trans Ash will provide necessary safety training for the job.

Experience:

• Experience as a general laborer in the construction industry is preferred.

Other Information:

• Frequent sitting, standing, walking, bending, twisting, pushing, pulling, and lifting.
• Ability to lift up to 49 pounds, climb, and operate vehicles and small equipment.
• Must be able to work in a construction environment including possible inclement weather.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Must be able to successfully pass a drug test, MVR, and background check.
