Operations Manager

Position Responsibilities:- Monitor safety for all field operations and provide proactive safety solutions
- Complete record keeping as required
- Perform site orientations
- Develop safety reports, training, and site-specific health and safety programs
- Conduct site inspections, observations, and process reviews
- Act as a point of contact for safety issues and inquiries and ensure compliance with accident investigations and reports
- Review subcontractor safety policies
- Assist with OSHA correspondence
- Assist with the pre-task analysis process
- Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred
- Knowledge of safety policies and procedures
- Ability to balance multiple agendas and prioritize tasks
- Demonstrates leadership and accountability
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- 5+ years of experience in a construction based health and safety role or similar position
- Experience leading a small team of safety representatives preferred
- Associates degree in safety or related field. Bachelor’s degree is preferred. Experience may be substituted for a degree
- OSHA 510
- Safety certifications are preferred, but not required
