Construction Field Supervisor; Power​/Utilities

Overview

Primary Talent Partners has a new contract opening for a Construction Field Supervisor (Power / Utilities) with our large power and utilities client in Mooresboro, NC. This is a 12-month contract with a potential for extension.

Pay: $50.00 - $56.00/hr
; W2 contract, no PTO, no Benefits. ACA-compliant supplemental package available for enrollment.

• Supports a diverse Construction and Maintenance team to achieve company objectives and is responsible for the execution of construction, maintenance and restoration activities.
• Ensure Compliance with safe work practices and environmental work practices
• Monitor performance against the schedule
• Validate milestones and/ or quantities submitted by the contractor for payment
• Assist in resolution of field problems as appropriate
• Identify and provide field observations of key work activities
• Ensure the quality of construction through continuous monitoring of the construction and installation QC process
• Communicate and collaborate with team members daily to address construction issues
• Attend project and department meetings as required

• Bachelor s Degree preferred, though not required;
  Associates Degree Required
• 10+ years relevant construction experience
• Possesses leadership skills to support construction, maintenance and restoration activities - need a leader
• Strong civil/earthwork/rebar fabrication/concrete placement experience in power plant construction is preferred.
• Former Construction experience supporting the energy / utilities industry is preferred
