Part-time​/Weekends Head Teacher - Liberty

• Ensure the well-being and development of the children in your classroom
• Design rich, thematic units that foster curiosity and help children reach key milestones
• Lead planning and implementation of inquiry-based activities and curriculum tailored to children’s developmental growth
• Engage with children using positive language, loving care, and interactive play
• Proactively communicate with parents about their children’s development and growth
• Closely supervise children and adhere to robust health and safety protocols

• 2+ years of experience in a licensed child care center, including experience as a Head Teacher or in a similar role; must include ability to create original lesson plans, lead parent-teacher conferences, and liaise with families about development and milestones
• Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Education (ECE) or Child Development
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to set goals and motivate staff
• Ability to build strong, trusting relationships with families, children, and colleagues
• Based in or willing to relocate to Liberty, NC; independent US work authorization
