Job Summary

As a Parts Counterperson at Classic Toyota - Wilkesboro, you will play a vital role in our dealership's success by providing exceptional customer service and assisting customers in finding the parts they need for their vehicles. This is a full-time position with a combination of base salary and commission, offering a competitive salary and benefits package. This individual contributor role requires a strong knowledge of automotive parts and a commitment to delivering exceptional service to our customers.

The job is located in North Wilkesboro, North Carolina.

Compensation & Benefits

The compensation for this role is $45,000 to $65,000 per year, paid semi-monthly. In addition to the base salary, there is also a commission structure in place to reward outstanding performance. Our benefits package includes health, dental, and vision insurance, as well as a 401(k) plan and paid time off.

Responsibilities
  • Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner
  • Identify and locate automotive parts based on customer needs
  • Use parts manuals, computer databases, and other resources to find and order parts
  • Recommend additional products or services to customers when appropriate
  • Keep track of inventory levels and order new parts as needed
  • Price and label parts accurately
  • Maintain a clean and organized parts department
  • Provide excellent customer service at all times
  • Keep up-to-date with new parts and automotive technology
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience working with automotive parts
  • Strong knowledge of automotive parts and their functions
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Computer proficiency, specifically with parts databases and systems
  • Ability to lift heavy parts and stand for long periods of time
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • Valid driver's license
