Superior Performance Auto is looking for an experienced Automotive Technician who takes pride in their work, enjoys problem-solving, and values a team-focused environment.
This role is ideal for a strong B-level technician through A-level technician who wants to continue growing their skills while also supporting and mentoring others on the team. What You’ll Do- Perform a wide range of automotive repairs and services, from general service through engine swaps and repairs.
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and drivability concerns accurately and efficiently.
- Complete thorough digital vehicle inspections on every assigned vehicle.
- Perform major repairs including (but not limited to):
- Engine repairs and diagnostics.
- Timing belts and chains.
- Medium to major electrical repairs.
- Water pumps and bolt-on repairs.
- Assist and support other technicians with diagnostics, repairs, and skill development as needed.
- Build accurate repair tickets and documentation.
- Maintain a clean, organized work area.
- Collaborate with service advisors during vehicle check-ins when needed.
- 8+ years of hands-on automotive repair experience.
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
- Experience performing advanced mechanical and electrical repairs.
- Ability to work independently while supporting a team environment.
- Comfortable using scan tools and modern diagnostic equipment.
- Desire to keep learning and growing with industry advancements.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Reliable transportation.
- Your own toolbox and tools.
- ASE certifications preferred (not required).
- Focus in European vehicles.
- Advanced diagnostics: electrical, computer body control systems, noise/vibration.
- Internal engine or transmission repair experience.
- Ability to navigate multiple diagnostic software platforms.
- Experience mentoring or training other technicians.
- 4-day work week
- No weekends
- Workday ends at 6:00 PM
