Primary Purpose of Position
The primary purpose of the position is to provide administrative support to the UNCP students. In addition, it is expected this position will provide administrative support to manage the front office and day to day duties associated with assisting, greeting guests, and planning of various divisional activities.
Job Description
This position oversees the function of the front reception desk, triage in the waiting room, answers the phones and coordinates all provider schedules. Included in this role is coordinating office and administrative tasks to support the functioning of the Student Health Services department. These tasks include scheduling appointments, assisting the healthcare providers with reports, patient care and referrals, customer billing, data entry, electronic medical records, working with current software technologies and verifying insurance.
The work schedule is from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday with occasional after-hours and weekend for department and divisional events.
Management Preference
