Receptionist

Join the H&R Block team as a seasonal Receptionist—your role centers on welcoming clients, orchestrating schedules, handling phone inquiries, and ensuring a seamless client experience.

A Typical Day

You will answer phones and greet clients in a personalized, friendly, and inviting manner, match clients with the right tax professional, schedule appointments, and ensure all client needs are met whether in person, over the phone, or virtually. You will maintain office cleanliness and organization and perform other duties as assigned.

Preferred Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule and/or in multiple locations
  • Sales/marketing experience
Responsibilities
  • Answer phones and greet clients warmly.
  • Match clients with the best‑suited tax professional.
  • Schedule clients according to their preferences.
  • Ensure all client needs have been met during service.
  • Maintain office cleanliness and organization of resources.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Experience working in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Previous customer service experience.
  • Ability to multi‑task.
  • Strong organizational and time‑management skills.
  • Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office.
