Description We are looking for an experienced Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our team in Troutman, North Carolina. This is a contract position ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, with a strong background in managing accounts receivable processes and ensuring billing accuracy. Responsibilities:
- Process and manage accounts receivable transactions to ensure timely and accurate recording.
- Oversee commercial collections activities, maintaining effective communication with clients.
- Handle cash applications and ensure proper allocation of payments.
- Conduct regular follow-ups on outstanding invoices and resolve discrepancies.
- Prepare and review customer billing statements for accuracy and completeness.
- Collaborate with internal teams to address and resolve customer payment issues.
- Maintain organized records of transactions and collections for reporting purposes.
- Support month-end closing activities related to accounts receivable.
- Analyze accounts receivable data to identify trends and improve processes. Requirements - Proven experience in accounts receivable processes, including billing and collections.
- Strong knowledge of commercial collections practices and cash applications.
- Proficiency in using accounting software and tools for managing accounts receivable.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial transactions.
- Effective communication skills for interacting with clients and internal teams.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with financial reporting and reconciliation processes.
- Experience in agriculture or related industries is a plus.
