Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant for a contract to hire position. With a strong background in manufacturing to support our fast-paced and ever-changing environment. The ideal candidate will be results-driven, detail-oriented, and comfortable navigating complex accounting processes and frequent shifts in priorities. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure accuracy in financial reporting and compliance while driving process improvements within manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Manage the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting for manufacturing operations.

+ Analyze cost accounting information, including inventory valuation, standard cost updates, and variance analysis.

+ Collaborate with operations, supply chain, and finance teams to monitor and report on manufacturing performance and efficiency metrics.

+ Prepare and review account reconciliations, journal entries, and supporting schedules related to inventory, work-in-progress, and production activities.

+ Support annual audits and tax filings with manufacturing-relevant documentation and analysis.

+ Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes, with a focus on production, capital expenditures, and overhead.

+ Proactively identify opportunities to improve accounting workflows, internal controls, and operational efficiency in a rapidly evolving environment.

+ Maintain compliance with GAAP and internal company policies.

Requirements

Qualifications:

+ Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

+ In-depth knowledge of accounting processes, inventory management, and standard costing in a manufacturing context.

+ Strong proficiency with ERP systems and advanced Excel skills; experience with analytics tools and automation a plus.

+ Exceptional organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.

+ Proven track record of adaptability, collaboration, and managing multiple priorities under tight deadlines.

+ Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with cross-functional teams.
