Audit and Accounts Senior

Our client, a long-standing and highly regarded accountancy practice based in Ashbourne, is seeking an experienced
Audit Senior to join their growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified accountant with at least2 years Irish practice experience who is looking to further develop their audit expertise within a progressive and supportive firm.

• Lead and manage audit assignments for a range of SME and corporate clients
• Plan, execute, and complete audits in accordance with relevant standards
• Supervise and support junior audit staff, providing guidance and mentoring
• Liaise directly with clients to resolve queries and ensure smooth audit delivery
• Prepare audit files for partner review and assist in finalising financial statements
• Identify areas for improvement in client controls and provide practical recommendations

• ACA or ACCA-qualified Chartered Accountant
• Minimum 1 year experience in a practice-based audit role
• Strong technical knowledge of audit standards and accounting principles
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proven ability to manage deadlines and multiple assignments efficiently
• Experience with audit software (e.g., Case Ware) is desirable but not essential

• Salary:€60,000 – €70,000
