Heavy Equipment Shop Technician (Shop-Based)

North Canton, Ohio

Base pay: $30.00/hr – $48.00/hr (pay based on experience and certifications). Overtime available and paid at time+.

• Perform diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on a wide range of equipment:
  • Dirt movers
  • Lifts
  • Paving and milling machines
  • Environmental equipment
• Conduct functionality and safety tests
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and drivetrain issues
• Utilize laptops and tablets to run diagnostics
• Interpret electrical and hydraulic schematics
• Follow OSHA and EPA safety standards
• Stay current on training and manufacturer certifications

• Minimum 5 years experience in shop or field service repair
• Excellent diagnostic skills (12/24 volt electrical wiring, hydraulics) and proficiency with diagnostics tools and software
• Physical:
  Able to lift up to 50 lbs, stoop, bend, climb, crawl without restrictions
• High school diploma or trade school certification
• Valid driver's license
• Work in the U.S. without sponsorship
• Pass background check and drug screen (including medical marijuana)
