Atlantic Food Distributors is seeking Sales Representatives for the Canton/Akron OH area

The Sales Representative cultivates new customers, while maintaining existing sales within assigned food service operators in a given sales territory.

Pay:
Paid training and then transitioned to commission pay

• Oversee, maintain and develop existing business within a territory.
• Review daily sales reports to manage and coordinate work activity.
• Develop a daily/weekly call list and maintain information accuracy monthly.
• Focus on account presentations, building relationships that focuses on building business.
• To develop a target list of new customers.
• Business review monthly meeting with management to determine if goals and objectives are being met.
• Develop a front line relationship with assigned customers.
• Work closely with the purchasing and operations departments on customer needs.
• Participate in all sales/marketing functions as it relates to company business.
• To promote a positive attitude within the company.
• Work closely with local brokers/manufacturers on developing new business and promoting manufacturers’ product lines.
• Must be able to meet company goals and objectives.

• High School diploma or GED, with some business and technology knowledge
• Hotels/Restaurant background preferred
• Must possess good oral, communication, and mathematical skills
• Regularly required to stand, walk, and sit. Occasionally required to use senses of touch, smell and taste, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Frequently required to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
• Maintain valid driver’s license, acceptable motor vehicle record, and motor vehicle minimum insurance requirements. Must have accessibility to a vehicle to visit customers, make special deliveries, etc.
• Schedule may vary. Position may require attendance of functions outside of the normal business hours.
