Job Overview

As a Forklift Operator
, you’ll move pallets and other materials through the different areas of the warehouse, supporting production and loading/unloading customer trailers. Forklift Operators also get to wear many hats: sorting pallets by hand and repairing damaged wooden pallets in some locations. This role is vital to the success of our Relogistics site!

Hourly Pay: $18.50/hr

Shift(s): 2nd Shift Monday - Friday 4:00pm - 2:30am

Location: North Canton, OH 44720

• Move sorted pallet stacks to appropriate staging area using Relogistics forklift equipment
• Operate forklifts with extreme care, adhering to company safety procedures at all times
• Hand-sorting wooden pallets, when required
• Repair wooden pallets using a nail gun, when required
• Maintain a clean & safe working environment

• High School Diploma or GED
• Forklift certification preferred
• 1-3 years of forklift experience
• Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, lumber, carpentry, welding, roofing, and/or construction is strongly preferred
• Willingness to work in a labor intensive environment
• Ability to communicate effectively
• Willing to work overtime as needed

• Ability to work in extreme conditions including heat, cold, and air particulate
• Repetitively adjust body position to bend, stoop, walk, turn, pivot, and sit in a forklift for entire shifts of varying lengths
• The noise level in the work environment varies with location
• Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required (eye protection, ear protection mandatory at several locations, safety shoes)
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, and color vision
• May be required to lift pallets by hand, each weighing between 50 lbs. to 75 lbs
